Easy to assemble, but had to remove skid plates to slide on carpet. Squared off front edges would catch and dig in.
Bought this sled over the weekend and it was processed and shipped first thing the following Monday morning and received it on Thursday. It was packaged well with Styrofoam and bubble wrap. The welds look good, as well as the powder coat finish. This sled is built like a tank, very heavy, sturdy and should last a long time. The only issue I have with it is that the threaded ring inside the weight plate collar was welded slightly off center, so the collar doesn't screw down completely flush. It tilts slightly, maybe a 1/32 to a 1/16 , although this isn't a deal breaker for me. It's not very noticeable, sturdy and functions properly as of now. If you are looking for a great basic Dogsled at a better price than another well known brand, look no further.
Purchased 10 of these to use during strength and condition sessions for JROTC cadets and for our Raider competitions. I left the skids on a few for use on asphalt and took them off the rest for use on our grass field. We have used them empty and up to 290# of weight with no variance in performance. We push, pull and have tandem teams push/pull simultaneously depending on what I can dream up. These sleds are very heartily built and have withstood everything a bunch of teens can put them through. Definitely recommend these for any type of sled workouts you come up with.
