Very pleased. Quick delivery. Repsonsive customer service/sales rep. Excellent quality. Some scratches on equipment from shipping but expected. Everything looks, feels and works great.
My only recommendations are 2
1. Some sort of lat Pull Down attachment. I envision an outrigger arm with pulleys you can place a cable around, then a removable piece that slaps on and around the upright beam under the outrigger which the pulleys/cable attaches to. This piece has pins to hold weights and an inner plastic bushing which allows the piece to smoothly travel up and down the square beams for use as a lat pulldown/triceps extension rowing rig.
2. A webpage or instructions with different ways to setup the rig. For example, setting the pull-up bar connections at different heights, the square cross bars on the bottom & top at different heights for optimal utility & support? Building the rig out at 90° angles so it wraps around the room?
What is the actual minimum and maximum footprint of extra space required/recommended around the rig to be considered safely usable? For example how much space on each side to accomdate a full length bar, changing plates. How much space from wall if squatting on the inside of the rack? How much space around the rack is needed for stepping out to squat, benches, spotters, etc?
It would be awesome to a phot library of different gyms’ setups for ideas.
How many weight storage pins can a rig support? What’s the best way to arrange them?
I ran out of space on my rig setting them up because they’d interfere with what the bays are used for: squatting, benching Etc. I’m using two as parallel pull-up grips at the top of the rig.
That sort of guide would be amazing in the future.
However, I love my custom rig. With short 6ft bars I’m able to get four people squatting, TRX and or benching simultaneously, with the storage pins loaded the rig is sufficiently weighted and didn’t required bolting down. Love it. May build on to it at a later date.
Overall, fantastic product and service. I love mine. It got the job done with minimal fuss and best price I could find for the quality.
